I have a Nambu model 14 I plan to sell. It has a Showa date of 16.2 (Feb. 1941), and was manufactured at the Nagoya-Toriimatsu arsenal. My question ... I read in another forum that the earliest surviving model from that factory was Showa 17.4, which would make mine an earlier surviving model. Can that be verified? This pistol was taken off an officer during the Great Raid of Cabanatuan that freed the Bataan prisoners. It has been shot only twice since it was brought back from the Phillipines in 1945 and is in amazing condition. Thanks for anyone's help.
