The course of fire will consist of shooting at 200, 300, 400 and 500 meter ranges with 5 rounds each at those ranges (20 rounds total) with NO SIGHTERS at steel targets.
We normally go through two complete rounds of the course of fire at our shoots so plan your ammunition accordinally to do this twice.
The basic rule for this shoot is that the weapon MUST be an original configured military weapon, that means no aftermarket sights, target sights, the sights must have been the same exact sights used by the military of those weapons. Scoped rifles may be reproduction types but MUST have the period type scope on them for them to be used in the shoots ... We do seperate the classes of weapons to compete in ... bolt action weapons, semi-auto weapon and sniper rifles.
If you would like more information on the shoot you can PM or email me for more information as to the times and where we hold the shoot at the ASRP.
Note: For those who are wanting to practise for this shoot are welcome to come out on Wednesday July 4, 2012 at 0900 to do so. This ia perfect chance to get your weapon(s) sighted in for the shoot.
