This Mosin was my first rifle, and I've had it for about a year now, but I'm just starting to come across some problems that I think should be addressed.
The first problem is that I have noticed after shooting for a half hour or so, that the entire receiver and barrel becomes loose within the stock. I have thus far remedied this by tightening receiver tang screw, but it doesn't solve the problem entirely. Surely there is a more permanent solution, right?
Also, when I use stripper clips to load my rifle, the rounds become stuck underneath the interrupter and impede the forward motion of the bolt, which also results in a failure to chamber a round. the way I have gotten around this is by using my fingers to push the top round out from underneath the interrupter so that it may be properly chambered, and after that is done I have no problems with the rest of the magazine cycling properly. Help?
