I need to find an accurate target load. I have looked at several load data sites and found LOTS of different loads. I am hoping someone here has a load that tends to work in a few different rifles. I have a load for my .45acp that's like that.

I have some 180gr Nosler ballistic Tip bullets, Norma brass, and I plan on using H4350 powder. I also have some H4895, RL19, RL22 and RL15, but I tend to see the H4350 recommended often and I like the idea of a larger powder charge to fill the case.

I appreciate any and all suggestions. I would like to shoot this in one of my K31s but this first load will be for my 1911.

I've only ever used Varget in my K31's. I use 45 grains of Varget behind a 168 grain BT bullet, powder fills the case nicely and it pretty dang accurate.

Thanks. I ahve some Varget too. I will try it.
Until I can find a load book that includes the 7.5x55 I will use Steve's pages for data.
I had a lot of loads on my old computer. The computer crashed and I haven't been able to get into that old harddrive yet to recover the files. I gotta remember to start burning some CDs of those files when I build some more.

Hogdon's use to have the Vargets load listed on their website for 7.5x55 but it doesn't show up now.

I still haven't ran across a load using the Nosler 180gr BT bullet. I doubt it will be a problem in the 1911, but it might in a K31.

OH yeah. I found that I do have some other bullets to try.
I had forgotten but I have some Sierra 155gr Palma MatchKings and some Sierra 165gr GameKings. Along with the 180gr Nosler Ballistic tips I should have enough to see what this Swiss 1911 likes. The K31s will come later.
I do have a question about loading for the K31 though. Since the ogive is what gives the most trouble loading for these will the 155gr Palma MKs be a little more forgiving of the OAL than the heavier bullets, or will it not make any difference?
