My brother gave me this stock blank but he started to inlet it for a old style muzzle loader.But it has plently of wood for good mauser stock let after the inletting is removed.This is to nice for me to go to hatching at.So if any body would like to have it I'll trade for something mauser related. I posted this here because I talk to you guys here the most.

Just what every you got you have to trade. Im out of spare parts so Im not perticuler. I just know Im not skilled enough to inlet it .And it has some nice grain patterns. I have a question I just reshape military 98 stock and I didnt take any wood off the inlet area but my turk trigger guard was to tall. So what want know is
action was in it.

i've seen a lot of surplus stocks that have been over sanded in the past leaving the trigger guard sitting high. one of my turks is the same way & i
had a columbian fn 1950 that was real bad, i think the bottom metal on it was about 1/8" high in the middle.
triggerguards vary a little but you can thin the mag box & shorten the front pillar to make it fit flush
