Nothing odd here. ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC... have all be in the tank with Obama anyway. So now it's official.
When all else fails, BLAME BUSH! |

Anyone for Pravda or Ezvestya ? This is just more evidence that our government is taking more from the old Soviet playbook. Velvet, you are right, the founders
would have take up arms some time ago. Whether we want to believe it or not, we are all now complicit in changing our nation from the greatest nation on the
the face of this planet to nothing more than a banana republic. It makes no difference that you didn't vote for Obama, we have all stood idly by and, by
the standards of our forefathers, done very little to prevent the "change you can believe in" from taking place. However, all is not lost. We can and
will take our country back. The next election cycle is fast coming upon us. Matter of factly, petitions to run for office will start floating July 1. This is
when the people wanting to run for office in 2010 will be rallying supporters and getting signatures to get their names on the ballot. It is my belief that we
need common people to run for all offices. People we have never heard of, people that have not made a career out of politics, people that respect another's
rights and freedoms, people that can demonstrably balance their own personal and/or business budgets. Now, bear in mind that many of these people may not stand
a snowballs chance in he## of being elected, but they very possibly could start the masses to thinking about what freedoms they are giving up for the little
security they will gain in return. I urge everyone to support candidates like this, if there is not one, then I urge YOU to run for an office---makes no
difference if it is local, State, of Federal. We have got to vote all these bums out, if that means getting rid of a few good ones as well, then so be it. But,
we must get these people out of office or our complicity in changing this nation into a banana republic only becomes more implicit.

Sully, I'm only hoping elections are not outlawed by then. And also, we can see from Iran and Venezuala, elections can be rigged.

Thor, elections can and have been rigged in the U.S. before. It is not unlikely that they will not be again. Listen to me, now I'm sounding like Enfield
talking about a conspiracy. We need to be ever vigilant and guard against this happening. We also need to get rid of the professional politicians. What exactly
makes them any better at running our governments than plain, ordinary people ?

Sully, you crack me up. As close to Chicago as you are? Can an election be rigged? Is Acorn involved? I've still got lots of questions about November 4
and also a couple of Senate races. And what about your "new" Chicago Senator? You got your tongue in your cheek, I can tell.

Thor, our new Chicago Senator clearly "bought" his seat from a now impeached Gov. And his re-election prospects don't look very good, even among
his main constituency in the Chicago area. As for Acorn being involved, you can most likely bet the bank on that, but the Political machine of Chicago existed
well before Acorn was ever conceived. We are a little off topic here though. With Obama and his "feel good" ABC program he is effectively gaining
control of the media, even though there are those that would claim this is just not the case. True, he is not overtly taking control of the media, but how long
has it been since a President enjoyed a "honeymoon" as long as this one with no media criticism with the exception of FOX News ? ? Obama has taken
many things from the Reagan playbook in dealing with the media. Typically it is good news through the week, with the bad news coming on Friday or the weekend.
This was a great Reagan media ploy. Another page taken from the Reagan playbook is to point out those criticizing you by name. Obama seems to have dropped this
in favor of simply putting the finger on FOX, since that seems to be the only media opposition to any of his policies.
