Pending funds, I have purchased my first Yugo. It's a M48a. It needs a firing pin spring, otherwise it is ready to shoot. When it comes I will post pics.
Cost is $100 plus shipping!

from a fellow on another board who just was too preoccupied with Mosins to care about Mausers anymore. Right now he is trying to find an FFL to handle things
on his end. BTW it was a package deal. I got the m48 for $100 and he also wanted to rid himself of an impulse buy. for $150 I got a never fired NIB Stoeger
p350 shotgun too. Right now it is in home defense config. If it won't cost too much I wanna get a turkey barrel and stock for it. Otherwise, I'll sell
it and buy a turkey gun or trade it for something more suitable.

Sounds like you did OK. I do have a question though. Why is the seller looking for an FFL to ship? I thought anybody can ship a long gun as long as it goes to
a class 01 FFL.

His dad used to have a C&R and when He call him to ask shipping advice, he was told to go through a FFL. I guess to err on the side of caution. The FFL
that I use when I buy online told me that as long as the shipper includes a copy of his Driver lisence, everything should be OK.

You will probably need to get an aftermarket spring for your 48A. I have a model 48 that someone put a K98 (or something similar) cocking piece on. To make a
long story short, I could not find a correct cocking piece and discovered that bolt parts for the Yugo 24, 24/47, 48 48A are non existence. I ended up
removing some metal so the safey will work. Wolff springs does carry the correct spring that you need.
