I ordered another Samco rifle and this one took a month and a half to get here. The rifle is a Carl Gustaff 1924 model and the scope is a M41B #668. The rifle is in decent condition with stock dings. The numbers match on the mount and base also bolt, but the safety and cocking knob along with the front band and floor plate do not. The stock is mismatched also. Most of the mismatched parts match the stock.The barrel is marked with a #1 near the muzzle as replacement barrels were and a perfect bore.----------In years past I would not have been to excited about this sniper but times have changed. The rifle after a 2 hour cleaning looks great!!!!! Nice enough blue and good optics with lots of caracture. All in all a good looking rifle that will be fun to shoot and in a few years will be rarity as these were built this way from parts in1955. Banjomike PS These M41Bs shoot GREAT!!!!!!!

If you have all the correct parts , then you can not go wrong . Do the mismatched bolt parts match the bluing on the bolt ?

The rifle looks good and correct. As anyone who has read the Crown Jewels these snipers were made up from whole matching guns or made up from parts and pieces of others in 1955. This one obviously was made from parts but is correct in every way. I never liked mismatching rifles, but I like these. Banjomike PS This scope has the rubber cover for the focus. Does anyone know of replacement rubber for my other one that is missing the same? Thanks BM

It will have to be larger than the 10 speed tire size . Check with a bicycle shop for discarded intertubes . I have never heard of replacements being available anywhere !!!! That's what I plan to use on my M41B. It came without the rubber also. Mike
