On the Romanian contract Beretta model 1934 pistols, there are a few stamps that I do not know the meaning of.
There is an (EZ) stamp which is located on the left top of the trigger guard, a (TG) stamp found under the lanyard ring on the left side of the pistol. At the right rear of the frame it is marked with the letters (CM) and then there is a (CI) stamp found on the left side of the magazine release.
So these stamps are as follows,
(EZ)
(TG)
(CM)
(CI)
I figure these stamps are either the initials of an Italian inspector or the Romanian Arsenal proof or acceptance mark. Does any one know for sure one way or the other?
