Sure you can...legal-wise. There is no federal restriction on parts like that. Frames-receivers, maybe, but not a bolt. It may be a company/ sellers decision,
but it is not based on Federal law.

Who told you that you can't buy a bolt? Where did you try? Is it some oddball .22?

WHY did they say they wouldn't sell you a bolt? IF it was because of your age - HOW did they know your age??? This info is not required by ANY Reputable
firm that I've ever delt with when buying parts for any firearm, including machine guns!
