Obama explains why he doesn't salute the U.S.flag
I sure hope this gets around before Nov.!!!
Hot on the heels of his explanation for why he no longer wears a flag pin presidential candidate Senator Barack Obama was forced to explain why he doesn't follow protocol when the National Anthem is played.
According to the United States Code, Title 36, Chapter 10, Sec. 171, During rendition of the national anthem when the flag is displayed, all present except those in uniform are expected to stand at attention facing the flag with the right hand over the heart.
"As I've said about the flag pin, I don't want to be perceived as taking sides," Obama said. "There are a lot of people in the world to whom the American flag is a symbol of oppression. And the anthem itself conveys a war-like message. You know, the bombs bursting in air and all. It should be swapped for something less parochial and less bellicose. I like the song 'I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing.' If that were our anthem, then I might salute it."
OK! Lets look at some of the highlighted parts.

Are we going to put a man in as our "President" who feels that he shouldn't have to follow protocol or show respect like all the rest of the Presidents and those whom ran for President before him?
Taking sides... This one is to easy. He is running to become the PRESIDENT of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!! Now this brings up a very important question!!! Who's side is he on?
War like message... I don't know about you. But I am thankful for the ones who fought for our freedom!!! It is not a war like message. For it is and should always be an a reminder for us all of those many who died fighting. Maybe Obama would like it better if those who fought and died so we would have freedom didn't! Maybe he would like it better if the United states was like other countries! You know...the ones that don't have freedom. The communism ones.
THEN I "MIGHT" MIGHT SALUTE IT!! Say what!?!?
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this could possibly be our next president!!
He has absolutely NO pride or respect for this country and for those who died and still are dying to make sure we stay free!!!!!
