From a nearby, small show, today acquired this extremely nice Mauser 1914, serial 503498, 7.65 m/m. These 1914 Models have quite a number of variations and
sub-variations during the production time span. The one pictured here, would perhaps be better listed as a 1914/30, late variation.
From the beginning of 1914 production, they were finished with the rust blue method and in the 1930's changed to the salt blue method.
