well not exactly free. i had been looking for a redfield 3200 24x target scope for one of my projects & when i found one it just happened to be attatched
to an all matching husky m38. its mounted with a s&k scout mount so the rifle wasn't drilled & tapped plus the owner included the original rear
sight. it also has a timney trigger installed but the original trigger was included along with a bore protector & a copy of north capes the swedish mauser
rifles. bore looks great & the stock is in very good condition. got the whole set up for what the scope usually sells for.

the previous owner said he was averaging 1" groups at 100 yards with military ball.
it is a lot of scope for that s&k mount but it will be returned to iron sights soon. there's another forum that has frequent scout mount shoots, i bet they would throw a fit if i tried to enter with that set up. i have a couple boxes of commercial ammo but i'm out of militry ball, my m96 likes ball & my swede barreled 88 commision rifles likes commercial ammo

after finally getting it to the range i think its to much scope for the mount to handle. each shot would walk about 1" high & 1" to the right.
i'm going pull the mount & go over it to make sure it's a tight as it can be mounted & try it one more time before i return it to iron sights.

If you aren't happy with it I can tell you what to do with it.......................................
The power under the constitution will always be in the people. It is intrusted for certain defined purposes, and for a certain limited period, to representatives of their own choosing; and, whenever it is executed contrary to their interest, or not agreeable to their wishes, their servants can and undoubtedly will be recalled. if i ever decide to get rid of it i'll give you first crack at it. the scope will probably end up on a springfield 1903 in 22 hornet or a mosin nagant just
to mess with peoples head
