I have a current clearance with the US Government and I would think this should be a non issue, I just wated to get another C&R after maybe 7 years of letting mine go... All I want to buy some C&R WW2 rifles for my collection.....Grrrrr

Boy was I unimpressed, this is really nothing more than a Fed. version of the State of Illinois' version of a FOID. Same questions and everything. Of course, now the rest of you guys know what we have to go through in Illinois. Big difference is the fee, Illinois FOID is now $10 for 10 years, where the C&R is $30 for 3 years. Don't tell Illinois, they'll up the fee. We may consider each generation as a distinct nation, with a right, by the will of its majority, to bind themselves, but none to bind the succeeding generation, more than the inhabitants of another country. --Thomas Jefferson

Sent it in on 2/2 and got it back on 2/26. I was amazed. I did use the credit card (bank card) method and ATF deposited it on 2/8 (that's what shows on my statement) and it cleared on 2/9. I'm sure it must have been the new president that caused it to be so fast!!!!!!!!!!! NOT......................Guess I just caught them on a good day. Amazing......
