I shot fairly well, considering I don't shoot rifle, or open sights much. The shallow rear notch still makes me think my 50 year old eyes can't, but the target doesn't lie.
I did have a stringing problem on the second target. All rounds fired were from a bench off sandbags, and the stringing may very well have been from the bags. The first target with the good group showed me what it can do. The target itself isn't very good for iron sights. It is in shades of gray, and a nice black bullseye would probably help a lot.
The first target had a nice tight group, then it started stringing a bit. The second target started out with a vertical string, then started stringing horizontally. I was having to mess with the sandbags between every shot, and having to hold the bag when I fired, so they probably are the culprit.
