I inherited my maternal grandfater's H&R 32 cal. center break five round revolver. It has been fired only three times and is "as new" condition. I also have the box of Remminigton ammo in the original box. My wife and I are childless so we have no one to leave it / give it. I have posted it For Sale in the appropriate section of this site. No other grandchildren? If you have any cousins at all (of that line) hold it until one of them, or their offspring, shows an interest. My grandmother sold off
her father-in-laws pistols, the ones he carried through the mining towns of Nevada and Colorado in the 1800s. She had no interest in somebody else's old
guns. My father sold my grandfather's pistol, the one he had carried as a reserve deputy sheriff, because after the war my father had no use for guns, and
who needed a pistol. Once it is gone, chances are you will never get it back in the family.
