Or if you want some pleasant plinking without the recoil try 13 grains of Red Dot and a standard weight (for caliber 150-200 grains) cast bullet. It worked perfectly in fireforming 7.62 Russian brass to 8X56R which requires a lot more "blow out" of the case. It's quite accurate and lowers the point of impact so at least they hit the target instead of shooting a foot or more high with issue sights. Those little carbines can get your attention with full loads after a few clips.

The toliet paper load works but a word of caution, not wanting to wait until I went to the range I decided I would let go with a few into the fireplace. That way I would have formed brass to load with the cast bullets before I went to the range. Bad Idea, the paper bounced off the back of the fireplace onto the wifes carpet and was definitely burning, the blast blew out ashes all over me and the carpet. Not being bright enough to quit after putting out the burning paper I decided to stick the muzzle up towards the chimney and sent a rain of soot decending like a cloud from the chimney which covered me and nearby furniture.. It didnt do anything for the cats nerves either, and I spent hours cleaning up the mess before she got home.
