        <![CDATA[ Hello all,


First I&#39;d like to say that this has got to be the best swiss rifle forum I&#39;ve found......


I&#39;ve recently purchased a 1948 birch k31 and have come down with the swiss flu..... I&#39;ve got a 1934 walnut on the way and was wondering if the aluminum
muzzle cap the correct one ?? 

Or maybe I should ask if the info is posted some where??


I know, I know pics, pics, pics.... lost camera usb cord.... got another coming. :  )

As wkato said, the brass style would be more appropriate on the earlier models, while the aluminum would be found on later models.

That being said, a muzzle cap is a muzzle cap, so whatever you have will work for now.

Dunno, but I&#39;ll check and see if there is a picture showing a side by side. 1911 and 96/11s had different caps between them as well. IIRC the 89 also had a
different cap. (Small differnces, oblong... ]]></description>
