I bought a scope kit for my sks. It shot a torso size group at 100 yards before the scope. With the scope and the wobble, it still shoots a torso sized group at 100 yards. Maybe it's the ammo? A lesson learned.....

You will still have problems with zero even with the mounts with the set screws I gave up after buying 3 different brands. The other problem with the mounts is the loosness of the reciever cover to start with they rattle and the pin doesnt secure them in the same position every shot. By the time I get one sighted in a few shots more changes the zero.

I use one of these. It doesn't move around and has the added feature of see-through for your iron sights. I did tweak the cover pin a bit by bending it in the middle with a punch but later found it was not necessary.

Thanks guy's! I opted for an ATI no gunsmith required mount for my No.4 ENFIELD. Put a 3x9x40 TASCO on it. I'm gonna try for some BAACKSTRAAAP!!!

The best mounts for an SKS is a 'scout mount'. I have tried other ones that mount on the 'top portion of the receiver' and they wobble all over the place. The ones that are on the gas tubes is about the same.

I have heard the same thing about the wandering zero, with the best mounts being those that are secured to the receiver with screws.

Hey guy's, fabber39 here, was wondering what's the opinion of the forum about the sks scope mounts ? I'm talking about the ones that Centerfire Systems has on sale for $24.99 mount, and scope. I'm needing a little extra help, bad eyes, and tiny deer. I was wondering about the wandering zero that some people have with them ? I need all the help I can get. Can't afford a new rifle, just trying to make do with what I got.
