Now that I have my 450 posts back I feel at home. Sarge, I was a jet engine specialist on the B52 and KC135. Our B52 were nuclear armed and were destined for you know where.

I wondered WTF earlier when I noticed you were listed with only 1 post! Now all of a sudden you've got 450??? The Patch is the unit I flew door gunner with in RVN - 2nd Pn, slicks - in the Intruders, 281st Assault Helicopter Co.

May be, BUT when they changed my avatar, name and personal info to match another of their sited it Really Pissed Me OFF!!!
They won't let me reregister under the old info "Because it's taken" Yeah, BY ME, but I can't use it!

I don't think we had a choice as it was done by ezboard. There are some benefits to yuku. Photo loading is a bit easier.

337 1940 I have no idea why the counter has me down for only one post, it's incorrect. I have been a form member for quite awhile and althought I don't post that often it's been more than one LOL. Always had the same handle on all the forums.
Toothpick, I asume that is a year date on an original sling, must be a Romanian thing, interesting though.

In picture#3 what is stamped in the metal part of the sling? It looks like some kind of number? Haven't seen that before.

The follower matches the floor plate(662x). The bolt assembly matches itself (467x) and then the rest of the rifle and stock all matches (403x) and...

Why does your friend think this is a Rumanian? Sling looks like it may be oringinal? Front sight is correkt. Does the follower match the rifle - last 2 digets? Are there any numbers on the left side of the stock? Doesn't look like it, but does look a bit like it had been hit with a sander....
