I have not been to a gun show in about two years, and I was pretty amazed at the prices at a local one. $700.00 for a Chinese "Paratrooper" carbine,
$350.00 to $480.00 for a Yugoslavian SKS, and $500.00 for a Chinese "Standard" SKS. Are these prices normal? Also, as an aside, an M-1 Garand in I
would say Field Grade condition, $1350.00.

 Hi,

I'm planning on getting a 24/47 for my birthday next month. Looks like a good rifle for the price, arsenal rework, like new bore, etc.

I would like to know what can be done to accurize the rifle and keep it in it's military stock? Should I bed the action, barrel or both? Free float? Any
 thoughts would be most welcome.

Thanks,
