			<description><![CDATA[ I got to shoot some of my Swedes this week to dial in the scopes and try some loads.  Best was my dark stocked Model 96 with one group of 3 in 7/8 inch group
at 100 yards.  Got lucky on a load early for that one, it seems.

			<title><![CDATA[ M96 blank stock disk ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ My 1906 M96 has a <span style="font-weight: bold;">blank grey steel disk</span> where one would normally find a brass disk with the arsenal info on it. This
disk has a 2 screw attachment vs the single of the brass. The rifle is in excellent condition - all matching, etc., with all the bluing intact. Bore is
perfect, also, and it has an <span style="font-weight: bold;">unthreaded</span> muzzle.   I read somewhere that some of these M96&#39;s were set aside as
sniper versions, and after they... ]]></description>

			<title><![CDATA[ My 2nd M96. ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I picked this up a couple of weeks ago. 1902 M96 with Lyman diopter sights, different trigger and some bolt work. A mute point now but all the remaining
numbers match except the cleaning rod. It came with 4 boxes of surplus ammo, 50 count bag of Rem brass and 80 140 grain bullets. $250. The bore and crown are
in excellent shape and the trigger is dream. The barrel was not shortened and the stock is still intact. Looks to me like the bolt may have been shortened. I

			<description><![CDATA[ Went to a small show locally and was surprised at the number of swedes that were around.  None were matching, all looked so-so to pretty good (when doesn&#39;t
a Swede?) no Husqy&#39;s and one marked as sniper, sans optics.  Prices went from 350$ to $795 (the sniper).  There was one Lungman, looked absolutely
gorgeous, $1400 with tool roll.  Temptation was strong on this one.  Prices seemed a little high to me, but I guess that is where the market is at.  Saw no
bulk packs of 6.5, but there... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ well not exactly free. i had been looking for a redfield 3200 24x target scope for one of my projects &amp; when i found one it just happened to be attatched
to an all matching husky m38. its mounted with a s&amp;k scout mount so the rifle wasn&#39;t drilled &amp; tapped plus the owner included the original rear
sight. it also has a timney trigger installed but the original trigger was included along with a bore protector &amp; a copy of north capes the swedish mauser
rifles. bore looks great... ]]></description>

approved recipe of course) and seat/crimp a real bullet on it?

Are the primer and casing suitable for that purpose?  Seems like a cheap source of primed brass, or are there technical issues that aren&#39;t obvious?

			<title><![CDATA[ Value of a sporterized Swede in the present market. ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I&#39;m paring down what I own and am considering selling a sporterized 96 that I bought about 2 years ago.  It came drilled and tapped with Weaver bases and
the bolt handle bent.  All the numbers were matching and the barrel was marked 2 if memory serves.  The barrel is still in it&#39;s original configuration so
it would make a decent replacement barrel to restore with.

			<title><![CDATA[ M38 rear sight ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I noticed something funny about the rear sight on my M38. The right ear is higher than the left. It&#39;s really annoying. I seated the rear sight several
times and didn&#39;t change anything. Nothing feels loose and nothing looks obviously bent, but when I look through the sights the right side is higher. I
think it is twisted or something. It doesn&#39;t look flat across, but seems to be slanted.
