			<description><![CDATA[ Shot the Calvary Carbine and the model 1916.  The carbine kicks like crazy.  I forgot about that sling swivel and saddle ring, and got soundly rapped in the
jaw on the first shot.  Secind shot I decided to put my hand over it and keep it off my face, and my knuckles rapped my in the jaw.<img src="http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/eek.gif">

this ones not quite as nice as my last one but its still not bad.
<br>
receiver, barrel, bolt &amp; bottom metal match, stock doesn&#39;t &amp; has been sanded &amp; refinished with tung oil.
<br>
bore looks good. the receiver is no longer in the white &amp; a few parts were painted black.

			<description><![CDATA[ <p>I recently acquired a Model 95 Chilean in pretty good condition.  No corrosion at all, and a very good bore.  The wood is bruised and dented, of course, but
it cleaned up pretty nicely.  I just got word the Model 93 that was in transit to me has just arrived at home.  I plan to take some pics this weekend of my
South American Spanish ladies, which now include a model 91 Argie, two model 93s, the 95 Chilean and a recently acquired Model 1908.

			<description><![CDATA[ <p>I bought this little rifle nearly 50 years ago and I&#39;ve been carrying it on my books as an 1895 Spanish Mauser. It is in 7x57 and not a CETME conversion
but I&#39;m not sure if it is an 1895 or one of the conversions to 1916. Its not in the best of shape, it came with an arsenal repair to a split behind the
rear receiver tang (see screw in photo) and although I sanded and true oiled the stock I treated it like an orphan and left it unattended in the basement when
we lived in Georgia.... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ i picked this one up about a year ago as a parts gun. the only parts it was actually missing were the buttplate screws, a few bolt parts &amp; the handguard.
its finally all together now. the previous owner had added a second recoil screw behind the rear action screw &amp; had started sanding the stock. the
handguard is a cutdown 93 rifle that i may artificially stripe to match the stock. all the metal has been painted black &amp; eventually i&#39;ll strip the
paint &amp; blue everything. its... ]]></description>

			<title><![CDATA[ 1912 Chilean Mauser in 7mm ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ Bought this at a gun show a few months back, rifle was dirty and took some cleaning.

 The receiver is marked on the top of the receiver Modelo 1912  below Crest and WAFFENFABRIK STEYR with AUSTRIA underneath on the left side of the receiver and
the stock is serial stamped to the receiver. Also came with it&#39;s  cleaning rod and an original sling. Also found a nice bayonet at the same gun show to
finish it up.

			<description><![CDATA[ I lucked into a 1916 Guardia Civil SAMCO import in .308 yesterday (I&#39;m well aware of the chambering issues).  On the used rack at a local gun shop, it was
$100 even.  Some idjit had ground off the crest in order to drill and tap it for a scope and thus serious collector value is essentially nil. The bore looked
like it could clean up ok so I went for it.

			<description><![CDATA[ Here&#39;s one I had for a couple years and with the help from a friend, I finally put her back together.  It was a mix match of parts and was is a CZ stock
but it shot great so I wanted to put her back to her original configuration.  The only thing missing still is the rear sight screw, I&#39;ll have to keep an
eye out for an argie marked one.
