			<description><![CDATA[ <p>Its the sixty-second birthday for the Kalashnikov Model of 1947. Any comments, anecdotes? Having shot Eastern bloc examples (AKMs mainly) I was impressed by
the function, reliability but not impressed with the medium-long range accuracy compared to the M-16. The AK is obviously a true &quot;Assault Rifle&quot; not
a hunting weapon.</p>

			<description><![CDATA[ 2 places had M-N 91/30&#39;s for sale.  One had arsenal refurbs that were $125, all Izzy&#39;s, round receivers, no laminated stocks.  But they looked decent
enough, just nothing that caught my eye.

The other place had some pretty beat up ones, still a lot of cosmo, pretty rough looking for $95.  Like the other seller, mostly Izzy&#39;s, etc.

anyway.

woodgrain on the stock.

bores also produced. I&#39;m going to slug the barrel to make sure. What I don&#39;t understand is why they made some of the barrels too small? Anybody slugged

			<description><![CDATA[ Just got a &quot;new&quot; 91 30 from AIM. All numbers match, dated 1942 with the Tula mark. Checked headspace, and it is go. Bore looks very good to excellent
(almost as good as my 30-06 Rem.700). Wood is good, has a small nick under bolt, but is very nice looking and no rust on metal. Will try to get pictures posted
over the weekend and will try to get some shots out of it to see how it does if I can do what I need to do. ]]></description>

			<title><![CDATA[ New 91/30 ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ Picked up a really decent MN 91/30 at the local pawn shop today.  I was buying a Ruger 30-06 I had on layaway and spied this one.  Sling and bayonet was
included, no oil can.  It has a minor stock repair that is hidden by the lower sling belt.  I&#39;ll post pictures soon.
