			<title><![CDATA[ Type 38? ]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[ I purchased one recently.  Is there a place where a serial # is supposed to be?  The mum has been ground off of mine and I have not taken the barrel from the
stock.  On the left side of the bolt(actually under it a little) there are some imprints on the metal.  These imprints don&#39;t look like any #&#39;s I&#39;ve
ever seen.  Even with my kids help, I can&#39;t post a picture.

when installed, the hole in the band for the crossbolt is above the hole in the stock - you can&#39;t even see the hole through the stock.  there is a gap
between the top of the handguard and the band.  the band has a swivel on the bottom and a provision for a swivel on the side.  the band is split at the bottom,
and has a round nut on the end of the screw, even though the band itself is threaded on... ]]></description>
