50/50 as to whether or not these should be fired with modern loads,I shoot Mauser 71/84&#39;s and Lebel 1886&#39;s. Can&#39;t these Vetterli&#39;s be shot with
proper

like the blade was sharpened years ago and initials WF carved in grip, also missing release button but spring and screw in place.

Stampings on blade and ricasso of a Oval with crown over FT and Oval with BC or BG, 81 and dot astrix and #8 inside oh bayonet groove, no other markings I can
find.
