			<description><![CDATA[ There can be no doubt that the pre war craftsmanship of German sporting rifles was exceptional.  But a lot of it was done by individual craftsman and it is
hard to tell what was more or less mass produced for the time, and what was a single or scarce model.  A case in point:  I have a Zi-Di bolt action in the
European version of the .22 Hornet.  I need a magazine and scope rings for it.  Is there any hope?  I have had no luck finding much in the way of information

Its a DWM Berlin 1917.  Will a upper handguard from a gew98 or turk mauser work? Or is it special to this  change? ]]></description>

It has the eagle stamp with a swastika with the number 74 under the insignia

Some other stampings on the rifle are 7266C

fnj bayonet won&#39;t fit on it (the bayonet fits on my other late war lug)?  The lug has one proof and the last numbers of the SN on the front. the proof make

numbers. Both had Weimar eagles and waffen ampts so I guess the bolt was in the 36-38 date range.I figured it would be a good shooter and it matched one of my
S/42 Lugers so I talked the guy down to $75 and bought it. I got home and striped it down to check everything out and found it didn&#39;t have ANY import marks

Picked up a <span class="highlight">mauser</span>.
<br>
It doesn&#39;t have any proof stamps on it that I can see, with exception of the picture I attached.
<br>
There isn&#39;t a crest on the receiver.
<br>
The picture I attached is found on the trigger guard, and two spots under the receiver.

Any help boys and girls?

			<description><![CDATA[ I got a new K98 and need to know if it a rare one I was told it was it is a az 1940 on the receiver also on the reciver and barrel it has 6921and on the thick
part of the barrel it has 7,92.

In good shape I think it does have light import marks but it does not have the engraved pen marks.
